kyme1911 Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 OK so 4 years ago I made this...I took a skinned cedar tree trunk, the type they use in south Texas for furniture. I cemented it in an old galvanized wash tub. Used a drill and drilled hole all over the trunk at an angle. I took bolt cutters and trimmed the metal ends of an old artificial tree. It looks really cool because you can see the wood, just like a living tree. Tree trunk had short stubs sticking out here and there, so the rest of the year I use the trunk as a coat rack since the base is real heavy.
