Blest2BAmerican
How is lotion and shower gel selling for people this time of year? Is one selling better than the other and what about size? Does 8 ounces or smaller sell better?
RetroMetroChic
Smaller always sells better for me, my customers always want to try more than one scent, so 8 oz just doesn't sell well for me.I'd say lotion sells better than shower gel always for me anyway.Shower gel is a slow mover and low on profit for me. Blest2BAmerican
RMC, thanks for the reply. I was thinking that shower gel would probably be a slow mover vs. lotion. I have 4 oz and 8 oz bottles so I guess I could do scents in both to see how well they do.
LovelyLathers
Shower gels were my slowest seller. I discontinued them. I sell a fair amount of lotion, mostly in the 4oz size. I stopped carrying the 8 oz size. I also sell them in a 1 oz size and those sell good also. I found the unscented ones sold better than any one scent.
