bassgal71
Just came back from my weekly trip to Michaels and I found a really neat way to package pillar candles. They had wine bottle carrying containers. Basically it's a decorated cylinder with a top that has a rope attached to carry it. A three inch or so pillar mold will fit perfectly in there. Once they take the candle out, it can be use for as a wine carrying container. I found these in Oklahoma City.

bassgal71
Here is a link to Michaels page. This one is pretty gaudy, but the premise is the same. The one I bought is a simple cylinder with a vineyard theme. http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectsheet?pid=25195c

firstlady
I was surprise to see . wine bottle containers at my local family dollar store, they were close to the pretty hat box'es of different size. they were just tall round box with a lid and rope to carry it, pictures and wording on outside , something about friends & wine . different themes. also had wine charms. i'm thinking of getting one for my daughter inlaw and putting a nice bottle of wine in it ,
Fern
Hey...I saw those at Michaels and they were selling them for $1.99 here in Connecticut...we picked one up today (not all of them were gaudy) but I never thought to use it for a pillar...great idea!
