KMommy
Maybe I've been smelling too much FO but I know I posted this question a couple of days ago and I can't find it on this forum??? Are there tart or candle warmers that are especially for soy wax?
Lorrie
Electric warmers you need to have a 40 watt bulb instead of the 25 watt one that usually comes with them. But I don't believe that there is any other difference.
Sharon in KY
I have never heard that before and use warmers with 25 watt bulbs all the time. I started making soy tarts 5 years ago and melting in Irvins Punched Tin warmers, 25 watt bulbs. they have a strong scent throw. I now have bought their new larger warmer that has a 60 watt bulb. I can vouch for the Levien 25w, Ganz 25w, Van Antwep 25w, Irvins 25w, 40w, 60w, Waxcessories 40w, Jackel heating element and the Velamour warmer. All work great with soy and paraffin, no difference... hth
KMommy
Thanks for the information! I read on another site that there is now a warning with some candle warmers NOT for use with soy wax. No reason was given so that is why I posted the question here. I can't imagine that they would actually get so hot that it would be a fire hazard but I just wanted to make sure.
