Red
Here is the recipe I am using and my problem seems to be MELTING!!! When I ship, it basically turns to liquid and is no longer whipped and fluffy..Can someone maybe tell me what I am doing wrong? I usually just make the base and then add the sugar as I need it later.10% ewax8% stearic1% cetyl alcohol64% butters14% oils1% preserv.2% FOAnd then when it sets up I add sugar as needed and the WHIP like crazy. Faerywren
Could just be that it is very unusually hot now. I know our heat index has been between 108-112 every day. Can't imagine how hot the post office transportation is.
Kitn
They tend to melt when it is really hot, just the nature of the beast. Many sellers do not sell them in the summer online for this reason.
ChrisR
I never ship sugar scrubs or lotion bars in the summer.
fairylite
If you whip it too much, it'll also deflate once it's in heat.
