cybersix
Hi, I bought plain paraffin and as always I don't know MP..I pour it in my molds at 150°F.When it cools I get a lot of frost and pillars are full of microscopic air bubbles!!!! Why? It's the first time that happens to me, but it's the first time I use this paraffin. If I pour hotter do I solve this problem?
MichelleOH
You might want to pour hotter and tap the side of the mold after you pour. Tapping will bring the bubbles to the surface. HTH
cybersix
Thanks!! the strange thing is that I tap molds. I see some bubbles go up to the surface and disappear. Then I go back to look the candle I see millions of bubbles trapped in!Thank you
Scented
Well 145-150 is a good range to pour for rustic candles ... thus it's too cool for anything else. You ought to safely be able to pour from 175 to 190ish without many problems (depending on what kind of mold you're pouring into.)

Scented
If you're adding steric to it, just cut back. If not, try about 5-10 degrees hotter then.
