Deep Red Color....??

I use EZ Soy wax from BitterCreek & cannot seem to get a deep red with my liquid dyes....any help would be appreciated!

When I used liquid dyes in my soy I often had to use at least 7-9 drops or more per lb to get a rich color. But the best deep rich red color I got in my soy candles comes from those Reddig dye chips I get from CS.

Heres a sample of the cinnamon. The red is just as bright and rich.

I chip per lb. CS has the red, cinnamon red, and ruby red. Some colors like red are hard to achieve in soy because of its opacity. So try more liquid or give the chips a try.

ruby red and a little yellow make a true pretty red. Just add more drops.

We use the red colour block with a touch of black added for a nice deep red in soy.

Kentucky Candle Supply has some great color chips. I mix them with liquid to make different shades.
