mparadise
Sounds like the heating element bit the dust. may need to be replaced
candles4ever
Darn it, I've only had it for a little over a year. Oh well looks like I'm going to have to get another one...
LuminousBoutique
if you have a harbor frieght nearby its only $10 for a great one, I've had mine from there for over 5 years and its still rocking! I picked up another so DH can help me shrink wrap and I believe it was 9.99, its orange and has a high/low setting.
Candybee
I've got a 1200 watt Wagner brand heat gun I purchased at Ace Hardware about 4 years ago for $20. It still runs like a champ. It has 2 heat selections-- hot and super hot!!
candle_man
As a tip to make heat guns last longer, when you turn it off and finished using it stand it up right heat nozzle up to let it cool down I have had a few over the years and they will last much longer. Because when you switch it off the fan stops blowing and the element does not cool down as fast and will shorten the life....Just my 2 centsMark
