Mnhorsemom
I want to try a recipe for goats milk cp soap. It calls for 33 oz of goatsmilk. I have powdered gm, how much of the powder would I add to 33 oz of water? TIA
Gypsyjen
Suggested conversion = 1T powdered milk per 2oz waterIn your case = 16.5T per 33oz or roughly 1C powdered milk
Linnyeg
33oz of gm? that sounds like a pretty big recipe! you can just use your normal cp recipe if you'd like and just replace the regular water with gm. I use the powdered gm as well and just make a slurry with it and add it at trace. I use water for my liquid.
SatinDucky
depending on how exact you want your amounts to be, I wouldn't think you'd use 33 oz of water + power to = 33 oz of GM. The difference would only be a few oz and may not make that much difference. Possibly subtract the weight of the powder from 33, then use that figure for water? Just a thought... petpamper
You mean you can add the lye to the GM? and use no water?
