Jeana
I've been testing several wicks for tealights.(CD 4, HTP 31, LX 12, and some of the TL sizes) Most of them claim to be self trimming wicks. Many of them start out really well but as the wax burns down (in about and hour) the wick stays long instead of trimming itself. I end up with the wick too long and flame becomming too hot. I never had this problem when I was burning the cheepies that come 100 for $5. The wick would truly burn down with the wax. Do the rest of you recommend trimming your tealight wicks? Or is there some trick I have missed to make these wicks really be self trimming. I'd appreciate any ideas or help with this. Fern-Marie
Hi Jeanna,I don't know what wax you are using, but I use TL 15 or TL 18.They DO self trim, and burn from 3-7 hours depending on FO.Good Luck.Fern-Marie
