arw1019
I got a whole series of wickit wocks that were a sample, the 700 series. Has anyone ever tried them?
topofmurrayhill
Those come up periodically. They are good wicks, but others are more widely available in smaller quantities. Probably the main thing that makes the 700s attractive vs. other flat-braided wicks is the fine gradation of sizes.
arw1019
I have a whole series of them, from 700-793, 3 of each, should I try them?
Stella1952
should I try them? Well, heck yeah! I mean, you've GOT 'em and the only way you'll know how they perform is to test 'em, soooo.... Who knows - if they can hold up to the acidity of the wax, the finer gradation of sizes might make them a more accurate wicking solution than is available in other brands. Be sure to take pics - if they work, it might cause some of us to follow your lead 'cause I can't tell you how many times I've had to compromise because I wanted a slightly smaller or larger size that just wasn't available. Stella1952
Sorry, Top! Guess I skipped a frame of reference there... :embarasse When I referred to "acidity," I was thinking specifically about palm wax. Had palm wax on the brain. Probably from breathing palm wax dust.
