Butter question

ok so i have some shea, cocoa, and mango butters coming. what is the best way to store them? cool, dry place. fridge ? and what is the shelf life on butters, how quick do you have to use them up before they go bad ? anything else i should know about butters ?

Cool, dry place. I don't recommend the refrigerator UNLESS you have a very warm house AND you can guarantee that food items are low in odor (don't store with cabbage or onions).

We recommend that you use them up within a year. This way you have fresh material all the time.

thanks :) i do have a warm house i generally keep it at 75-80 cuz i hate being cold. but i have a door that goes into my pantry (which is the back enterance way to the house) so i can close that and it keeps the heat out so it will stay about 60 degrees in there. which is where i keep all my FO's. im sure i can clean off a shelve just for the butters lol
