KMommy Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 I am new to bath bombs! I purchased some round clear plastic christmas ornimates that you open and fill the inside. I thought these would be good for molding the bath bombs. I am working with a round mold. If I fill both sides of the mold with the bath bomb ingredience how do I get both sides to stick together? Melly Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 Overfill both halves and press them together as hard as you can, hold in a firm press for 12 - 15 seconds. Do not demold. Leave both half of the bath bomb mold on for 5 minutes or so, then carefully remove 1 half. Leave the bath bomb in the other half for up for 30 minutes if possible, letting them dry a little like that helps them to hold together well , and leaving them in the second half prevents flat bottoms.its best to have lots and lots of christmas ball molds if you plan on making bath bombs often.
