CathyinME
Hi all! I need to make a gold colored palm pillar for a 50th wedding candle but the color does not come out right. I tried the gold dye chips but it's more yellow than gold. Does anyone know what colors to use to make a gold??
Stella1952
I use liquid EVO dyes from JBN & CandleWic. There is a yellow that's a "high visibility" yellow that makes a nice gold, especially with a touch of either brown or olive green to tone down the "yaller" to a more pleasing gold. mparadise
I've had good luck with liquid Ivory from C&S in palm wax too. More of a mellow gold color.
CathyinME
Thank you for the suggestions. Wax is finally here so I can experiment in the next couple of days. i think I have the ivory one from C & S.
