SOAPFREAK
I take a cookie sheet and put 2 layers of paper towels on them. I put all my metal tins on the paper towels and take a heat gun to them. All the wax melts off onto the paper towels.
Candybee
The multi tart mold looks nice but they won't be as durable as the metal molds. I hate having to replace molds that wear out after a year or twos use and those were plastic molds. Plus that gets pricy when you have to replace. And don't think that a year or two down the road the price will be the same. My metal molds are six years old and still working great.I hardly ever have to clean them because the wax tarts just pop right out. If I do clean them you just pop them in the 175 degree oven for 10 minutes on a cookie sheet lined with paper towels and wipe. Easy peazy.
