scopeland14
Does anyone shrink wrap their individual tarts? the ones that look like Yank** candle tarts. They are 1 oz. I can't find bags that small. Suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated
ScentGifts
I dont use shrink wrap, but I do make the 1 ounce melts like Yankee, and I just put them in a 3 x 3 zip loc bag. They fit perfectly!
TheWickedWick
I buy a roll of shrink wrap from a craft store, cut it into squares and wrap all my individual tarts. It's time consuming but I like the look of it. The only complaint I get is that you can't smell the tarts really strong thru the wrap but I just tell them it keeps the tarts fresher..which I think it does. Donna-Do
I think shrink wrapping is way too much work and use the 3x3 ziplocs myself. But, if I were going to shrink wrap, I'd use tubing and an impulse sealer. http://www.packcoinc.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=
scopeland14
can you by the ziplock bags in bulk? Do you have to worry about fragrance loss?
ScentGifts
can you by the ziplock bags in bulk? Do you have to worry about fragrance loss?Yes, you can order them in bulk. I get mine from The Candle Sourcehttp://www.thecandlesource.com/catalog/i518.htmlYou can also buy them by 1000, for I think $12.00 + shipping. Just email her and ask, or look them up on ebay!I have several packages around here if you would like a 100 or so to try, just let me know!!forgot to add.... they do not suck the scent out either. I actually have some left overs from last Christmas that still smell as strong as when I made them!!!
