Lorrie
Does anyone here make them? I haven't seen to much discusion on this so I thought that I would ask. I have been researching the last couple of days and all I can find is websites that people are selling them. No instructions or wicking suggestions. I will keep digging but I wanted to know if anyone here has made them..
Henryk
You aren't going to find much on the net. I don't know why it seems to be such a big secret. Anyway, here is a couple posts I did:http://www.candletech.com/cgi-local/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Discussions;action=display;num=1110084531;start=0andhttp://www.candletech.com/cgi-local/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Discussions;action=display;num=1102978910;start=3Search the board for posts by Cetacea also - she really knows about BW. If you don't want to actually pour them, you can get some decorative sheets and roll them. There used to be a nice variety at candlewic, but they quit selling them. Once in a while you can hit places selling corrugated or smooth, but many times they are out of many colors or only stock a couple. I don't think I ever posted this type, so here is one.EDIT: Forgot to add - search on the OLD board (both the veg and regular forums). Lorrie
Thank you! Maybe I will have to post more information about it when I learn!
hem06
I have found wicking BW to be a challenge for sure!I bought some candles from a huge seller on ebay of them...TERRIBLE. The wick was way to small and the burn terrible.I love to burn beeswax, so testing is great for me! LOL. I tend to wick large then work down as necessary.
