Piedpipurr
I have been pouring WSP clamshells for some time with no problems. However, yesterday and today I have had three pours where the bottom pops a leak on just one. The strange thing is that it is usually on the 3rd or 4th clamshell. I am pouring at 160 degrees. I would think that if my temperature was too high it would be in the 1st or 2nd clamshell. Do I have a few bad clamshells? Is anyone else having this problem? I am getting towards the end of this order of 200 of these. Not having had this happen before I'm getting pretty frustrated. What a mess to clean up. The wax runs under the ones next to the leaker and how can I clean up the good ones? Thanks for any advise and help.

OverSoyed
Were there any noticeable holes before you poured?I noticed some of my shrink wraps had tiny pin holes in them that I got from them. Not a huge problem, but still.
Debbie73
I have had this happen before, but I can't remember who I got them from. I use palm wax and pour a little hotter. I only had a few that leaked and it was not the first ones that I poured, either. I thought the same thing, that they were defective.
