Billie Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 Since using beef tallow, four of us are having problems with pimples. We didn't seem to do this with lard or Crisco soaps, haven't tried palm. Is this just coincidence with winter skin or is their something about tallow that causes this? Just thought I would ask the experts here to see if anyone knows. I tried to discount water but maybe I didn't do it right.Lard 20% Tallow 17 coconut 13 PKO 15 OO 29 castor 6 hardness 43cleansing 19cond. 53 bubbly 25 creamy 29iodine 53 ins 150water 395 gr.lye 169.34 gr.Does this look alright?
