momtohaley2004
Can anyone tell me how to put pictures on a pillar candle? I'd like to put my daughter's picture on a pillar candle for her grandma for mother's day but I can't seem to get the rub on adhesive stuff to work. Any other ideas as to how to get the picture on there other than gluing a picture onto the candle itself? I tried the decal paper and found it wasn't working for me. Maybe this isn't possible to do I don't know but it sounded like a nice gift.
CathyinME
I use the decal paper & find that it works. It takes some playing around with to get the hang of getting it to go on right. I guess you could glue a photo on but not sure how that works. Good luck.
Scented
Maybe cut out your picture and paint the wax on the back. You'd probably have to have hot, hot, hot wax so it wouldn't cool all that quickly, but it might work. Get the back of your art wet and apply it to the candle or tack your picture on and then peel up parts and paint it on. I wouldn't do this for sale though as the papers could catch on fire.
