ILVCANDLES
I was wondering if I could pour CP soap into a carbon steel loaf mold? If not, what type of loaf mold can I use and do you know where I can buy one locally? Thanks!
Misty
The only metal loaf mold I would use would be stainless steel or enamel, as the other metals would cause a reaction to the lye.
Ruina
but if you line it with freezer paper that should be ok

Even lining other you have a chance for leakage and it could potentially cause problems.
patka
You can use silicone bakeware if you find a shape you like. It works great with soap. Your soap will be smooth and will slide right out. They have those everywhere. Bed Bad & Beyond used to carry a set of a few molds that turned out to be good deal per mold. Especially if you are getting those 20% off coupons.
