Sister Kya
Any vanilla FO will discolor to brown. Your Pink Sugar and Birthday Cake probably both contributed, but some supplier's Pink Sugar are known to turn white soap almost black without any help.If you like vanillas you'll need to get used to brown soaps. There are a few vanilla stabilizers on the market but results with them are mixed.
yoyo
I'm pretty sure it's the vanilla content in the FO's you used. I would suspect it will get even darker than that. Alot of soapers use a vanilla color stabilizer to help with that. Here's WSP link to that product:Crafters Choice™ Vanilla Color Stabilizer (1 gal is approx. 9.1 lb) Common Uses:MP Soap. Points of Interest:Prevents the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning formulations brown. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. Must use in a well ventilated area. Candybee
Pink sugar is notorius for turning dark-- even black! Try a vanilla stabilizer. I believe WSP carries it.
mustang67
Planet Earth has a very reliable stableizer. I have not been disappointed.
