Lyndsay Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I dont have a site or sell anything but I noticed that some people's websites dont have the ingredients listed on their bath & body items. Does the fda require you have to put them on your items only....and not your website? If you DO have to put the ingredients on your website, can someone link me to where it says that on the fda website? Ive searched and searched but cant find the answer.*I told someone that they need to list the ingredients and she said she doesnt have to list them on her cite. I was wanting to show her that you do, but as I started thinking and searching, I started to doubt that they have to be listed on your site as long as they're on the label. Quote
WendyByTheBay Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I list mine on my site. I would hate for somebody to order then receive product and see something on the ingredients they couldn't use. That's just me. I have no clue if we are required to by the FDA. Quote
CareBear Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 The labeling requirements apply to product labels only, not to web site or advertising. Quote
Scented Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Nope, not on the site. Labels, yes, but I believe there's a gray line about having to list ingredients on soap even at that ... for now. Quote
