Valien
I just cut open a slab from Peak that I got last week with the Container kit. It was soft and cut easily with a butter knife.
Brenda (OH)
As testing continues here is an update: The results I have been acheiving are consistent. Although the 4630 I am working with is a harder version is it using the same wicking in my blend as the butter soft version. The HT was an issue at first, I was test burning at 48 hours. With longer cure times the wax is throwing great. All in all I prefer the soft version. I am hoping my next orders will be but for the time being this wax is workable - once I get it cut. Jane42
We have done some testers with the "different" 4630 and it seems to be burning the same. The tops do not always have a smooth top - some of them look like I had saran wrap over them and pulled it off after it cooled.I contacted Candlescience and they told me that they have not noticed a change and the woman I spoke with said she uses this wax, so I ordered four cases from them. I will let you know what we end up with.Frustrating to be sure! Our order from Candlescience looks like the "older" version, thank goodness.
