Melly
Ok ,i feel like an idiot asking this.I made georgia peach candles yesterday, and figured peach is light orange right. So i used 2 drops of liquid dye in a pound of wax, and well, they turned out yellowy orange. Not quite what i was hoping for. Does anyone know how to make a decent peach colour? I can not find peach dye chips or liquid dyes on my regular suppliers site.
jenniejr
I use my liquid dye from Peak's. It's Coral/Peach. Are you able to get some from them? Because it is dead on when you use the right ratio! Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
DanaE
I use color chips called Cantaloupe. They are a perfect peach shade. When I don't have those I mix pink and orange and hope for the best . It's so hard to get that perfect peach shade without going over into the 'really orange' category. I'd make a small amount and pour it on a white sheet of paper to see if you have the color you're looking for...DanaE

Scented
Well isn't the meat of the fruit a yellowish orange? If you want way lighter, try a small drop of the orange in 1 lb of wax. You may need to dot in some yellow though.
Molly
If you want a coral type peach color, use a tiny bit of orange and a tiny bit of red, more of one than the other depending on which way you want the color to look more like!

BobbieLynn
I use Dye Chips and cut one "Melon" chip in 1/2 for a nice peach color....This would be for 1 Pound of wax....

Sharon in KY
I use 2 drops orange and one drop magenta, per 4 lbs of wax. You could half it if too dark. I prefer a pinkish peach.
