Jaye
I've been making candles for a few years (just for personal use/friends and family), so I'm not really new to candlemaking - but this is something that I have absolutely no idea about. What does it mean when the flame flickers as though it's sitting in a draught? Just in case it was, I moved it to different areas, but still the flickering. I'm using 4045H, 1 TB pp of stearic, 1 oz pp of FO and ECO 12 wick. The melt pool and hot throw are amazing, as is the flame height. If it wasn't for the flickering, the candle would be perfect! If anybody has any ideas, I will be forever grateful!TIA! :smiley2:
Vicky_CO
It actually a lack of oxygen your flame is pulling air in really fast to keep burning. Smaller wick will sometimes help or even a differant kind of wick.
Jaye
I'll try a smaller wick and see how we go. Thanks, Vicki! :smiley2:
