deanna
I have a customer that has some containers she wants me to fill for use on her candle warmer. They won't be wicked which makes me more comfortable with the request. My question is about how much to charge. I pay .99 per pound of wax and around .99 per oz. of fragrance. So do you think that I should charge $3-4 per pound of finished product that I put into her containers? How much do you charge for refills? Thanks! Candle Man
Your cost of a pound of scented wax would be (1oz FO per Lb of wax) $1+$1= $2 for 1LB of scented wax (that is without color) so an 8oz container would cost you $1 to fill or .13 per oz.The standard retail cost is 3-4 times your cost or whatever your area will bear.
