latch
i guess you would call them sniffies? something you let your customers smell to sample scents... well i bought some 1.5 oz hex for these. the little tins for watchmaking didnt close tight enough and scents were mixing. My question is... has anyone ever used a cottonball or a piece of air freshener blank inside a little jar for sniffies. i have about half of my scents poured in these but the other half i dont want to pour just an ounce of wax in these. do you think a little fo painted on an af blank would do the same as scented wax??tia
Kaybee23
Not sure about that. Reason being that it always smells different in the wax than it does OOB.

AngelaVA
I had the same problem when I started making my sniffie jars. For some, I just poured a small set of votives and used the extra wax to put in the jars. It doesn't look as nice as container wax, but just heat gun the tops and they get flat. But you really should pour it in wax to get the true scent.
ReginaP
Each time I would make a candle I would pour a small bit of the wax into a tart mold. Once it sets I seal them in a mini zip lock baggie. This lets people pull them out and smell them and also see the color I pour them it.
