candlecrazyinwv
I have been trying to decide weither to use paypal to accept CC or to choose a merchant account (example Propay). Just needing some opinions before I set up my site for orders...TIA Someone in another post had recemmended I use Mals for the shopping cart so now I need to know the best way to accept CC. Thanks
grama
I use Authorize Net. That will work with the Mal's Cart I think. I don't use Mal's but I saw it when I was looking at Mal's.
Vicky_CO
Propay is not a merchants account. Go to your local bank and find out what they offer you might be surpised and what they are willing to offer to help you on and off line with accepting Credit cards. MissMary
Depends on how much you expect to sell. If it's not much, you might not make back the monthly fee for a merchant account, whereas Paypal is only when you use it.
candlecrazyinwv
That is so true. I think I will do better with my local customers and continue to deliver to them for free...but just wanted to make a little more money from web sales...dont we all? LOL:D
Brenda (OH)
I use both paypal and propay on my site. Over the years of offering both I get more CC sales than paypal. In the beginning I really thought it would be the other way around. I currently only accept Visa and MC but am considering to offer Discover even though there is an additional fee.
