Mozzie
Hi, I'm in Australia so don't know how helpful this advice will be, but I use straight Chinese paraffin wax. It has a melt point of 145F and is the most translucent wax we have available. Good luck. Mozz
SatinDucky
I'm thinking 1343 is probably pretty close. However, it will depend on what you want to use it for....
topofmurrayhill
hi.i was wondering if you guys knew what wax is the closest to translucent? Most of the straight paraffins are quite translucent. The pre-blended waxes with additives are not. However, if you use straight paraffin you need to put in additives to hold scent and make it burn well. Plain paraffin wax doesn't make a very good candle. A few additives will preserve the translucency but most won't.
