Circle
Something really strange happened which has never happened before so I thought someone might be able to shed some light here. I made some crystal palm containers with Hunters green Liquid dye, 50/50 Jasmine and honeysuckle and UV, they came out great. Next day reheated the mixture and it stunk like it was off and the colour had turned a dark olive green???? I had to throw away 1lb wax LOL:mad: I will mention that I had made another batch with a different colour and FO and Nothing happened to this wax/fo, in fact it has never happened when I have reheated wax and fo in this wax EVER!! Help out there, please!!!
bugtussle
I have had greens turn olive in palm wax. However, it has been after a couple of weeks. I think greens do something funky in palm. Carole
Stella1952
What temp did you reheat to?

Stella1952
I'm stumped - I haven't had that problem except when I way overheated the wax (over 205°F)... might just be a finnicky combination in that particular wax...
grama
The Jasmine that I use I have found it is much better not to color it. It always turns a funky color:smiley2:I also think, it has been a while since I made honeysuckle, that mine is hard to color.
