janiece
For some reason I am crazing the scent blend of vanilla and cedarwood. Does anyone have any FOs they can recommend to satisfy the craving? Thank for your help!
SliverOfWax
Sounds wonderful. I would use Cedarwood EO. The vanilla would have to be strong to blend with the strong scent of the Cedarwood. I would recommend a plain vanilla instead of a multi-note vanilla such as VBN. I did blend Cedarwood EO and VBN and it came out not so good. Too many scents fighting with each other. Cedarwood EO is powerful, so if I do it again, I would probably use 25% Cedarwood, 75% plain vanilla.I recently blended Lavender EO and Cedarwood EO just because I had small amounts of each that I wanted to get rid of. It came out fantastic.
MamaVSoap
It's a nice blend. I use vanilla FO from Southern Soapers and cedarwood EO...Camden Grey, I think.50/50 blend. Yummmm.
Holly
I almost ordered a sample of this yesterday from Just By Nature, but resisted from ordering any samples with my order. I have never smelled it before or tried any before so not sure how it would do in soy, etc. Here is the link:http://www.justbynature.com/Fragrance_Oils/Cedarwood_Vanilla_Fragrance.html
janiece
Thank you for all your help! Cedarwood and lavender sounds really nice too. I'm working on an EO blend with peru balsam and cedarwood but I wanted something for wax too. Now I have some good suggestions to check out.
