She has a big bottle - probably a gallon - of some commercially produced shampoo, but doesn't like the smell, so wanted to know if she could add FO to it. Can that be done? MochaMama Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 I've never done it - but I have scented laundry detergent that had no smell at all.If the shampoo is all ready scented, you would have to consider how the new FO will smell with the FO all ready in the shampoo.I would pour out about 4 oz and add about .5% FO-1%FO to start and see how the 4 oz reacts to the scent.Hope this helps!
