brempel
Hi There,I am beginning to pour my feather palm pillars. I am wondering, I read a thread about them not being one pour. My question is to those that use this wax. What temp do you pour at? Someone said they waited till it was slushy. Would this still give me a nice design on the candle? Any hints? I have made pillars from this just finding that I had to re-pour many times.br
Scent Cellar
I pour at 200 degrees and it just needs one slight repour on my pillars.
celicagtca
190-200 and poke relief holes as this wax does have air poickets, then do your second pour.
CathyinME
You need to pour palm wax hot to get the designs:grin2:
Jeana
Yep it has to be hot to show the feathering pattern. As everyone else said, around 200 degrees. If you add a little stearic (2-5%) it can eliminate having to do a second pour. (It does with my feathering palm anyway)
