jlynn73f
Has anyone here blended all natural soy with a paraffin wax to eliminate frosting? A friend suggested it to me and I told him he was crazy. but he told me to ask other people who make candles so I am.
FunFlames
It is done all the time! I blend 415 with 6006! Works great to kill the frost fairy!! I think it would be hard to search for on this site without knowing what people mix... but it does happen. Here are a few threads about it....http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70141http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70614http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70381http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68683HTHDanielle

jenniejr
I blend 223 and 125 all the time and I have great results. I insist on using a mix because I get better results that way.I do the same for my melt, votive & pillar waxes too. hth
Candybee
Yup! I blend my own parasoy. I like it cause you get the benefits of both waxes. My customers tell me my candles smell great. The down side is it is a very costly journey to test all that blending until I got it right, wicked right, scented right, etc, etc..
