candlesprite7
This is a fun project we are doing with our Brownie troop this week. I was also thinking this would be cute for Mothers Day or Teacher Appreciation week (which I just found out this week was). These pots are painted with chalkboard paint (which can be found at most home improvement stores) and craft paint. The girls will be using sidewalk chalk to draw on the pots and then we will be planting some flowers....I bought some pansies... I also have some clear Krylon spray I can use to seal the pictures on if the girls want them sealed, or they can leave them alone and be able to draw whenever they want.Kim
Michi
That is a cute idea! Those definitely would make nice gifts!
Sara
Fantastic idea - very cute. I like the way you are personalizing by letting the girls write on them with the chalkboard paint. Makes them all the more appropriate, too, for a teacher's gift.
Guest lorim23
What a wonderful idea!! That would be a great project for the kids to do for their grandmothers!
mindy5140
That would be a neat idea for cub scouts, I might have to try this spring when we plant something as an elective. Maybe we'll make the tops yellow and blue. Thanks for sharing,Mindy
