dayglow
Donita you are wondeful!! I used your method and no air bubbles!! Now I have 10 more to do just for Christmas. At least now I feel alittle better about them. It looks so great to me. If you could only see it in person. Thank you so much for the help. Hope the pic comes out better, so everyone can see it. Thanks everyone for your support and help here.
Donita
Your picture is a bit fuzzy, but if you say it came out good I believe you. I told you that you could do it. I really love Sharyl's ice cube trick. It makes the whole process much simpler. :yay: Congrats! Donita
chiptooth
oooh, seems like I missed the original thread on this one? The hurricane looks great...what's the ice cube trick?
dayglow
Both of my digital cameras are cheap ... so the pics come out cheap. Sorry. If you'll take my word for it, it came out wonderful!!
sharyl55
Instead of using a wet cloth I use an ice cube on the outside of the mold for picture 'canes. Just start at a bottom corner and work your way up and across the picture area. Seems to set up the wax faster over the pic.

Mtngrl
Thanks for showing us the pix ... very pretty! Did you print on a piece of paper long enough to wrap around the circumference of your 'cane or is it just on one side?
dayglow
It is on white paper and only on one side.
ItsMe
A beautiful candle, I'm so impressed by the quality of work. Don't give up on making more of them! Hopefully one day I'll venture into such a technique but for now I'll leave it to you pro's!
