andrealh1975
Does anyone have any ideas for inexpensive ways to advertise an Open House? I've put flyers on windshields, posted them in grocery stores, handed them out to people in the bank...Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Thanks!! is there a local radio station that will announce upcoming events? A free newspaper that will announce things like that? Is this an Open House? Or the craft fair you were doing?> Be sure you have a guest book at your event so that hopefully folks will sign it and you can have a ready made mailing list for sending out flyers for the next one too! andrealh1975
It's the Craft Fair/Fall Extravaganza...I didn't even think about the radio station!!! Instead of the guestbook I was going to do feedback forms and at the bottom it would ask for their e-mail or mailing addy to be sent info on upcoming events. sudsnwicks
You could put the info on the front page of your web site. Not sure how many locals view your site, but it wouldn't hurt.
prairieannie
Check around for local bulletin boards too..Grocery stores..Farm Stores..lots of them have a bulletin board for this type of thing. See what it would take to get a flyer insert in your local paper ~ never know til ya try!

sockmonkey
Have you thought about laundromats and libraries? Some libraries have community bulletin boards and you might be able to post a flyer there. A sandwich shop around here (Jimmy Johns) offers to put advertising in their bags they deliver to customers at no charge. All you have to do is provide the ads. Bev
Contact your local paper. They may do an article on you and you'd get some good free advertising that way.
