FunFlames
I have searched and found much info, just not what I wanted. My question..... how long do you let 415 cure before testing for HT. I did see a post that someone waited only 24 hours. I guess I am trying to find an average. TIADanielle

pureblisscandles
I cure my 415 with a minimum of 4 days....longer if I can wait. I was testing at 2 days but then gave alot of the testers I did not think threw to my friend and over half of them were really strong when she lit them. I lit one over the weekend that I had wrote off for poor HT and my goodness it was awesome!!( about 1 month old- Citrus Splash from BCS) So now I def wait at least 4 days to 1 week. FunFlames
Thanks for the answers!!I was thinking 5-7 days would be reasonable. I'd rather not use an FO if I have to wait weeks for a great HT. If I find some that are wonderful at 24 hours I'll be thrilled. Thanks againDanielle
8-GRAN-ONES
I have found that sometimes it does take 2 to 3 wks to get a good HT...I can give you an example..I used ICS Pink sugar..I tested it in about 2 wks...it didn't give much HT...I waited another 1 wks...and it is wonderful...I don't sell, but my family and friends get candles from me...it is a favorite... kbuck
It really depends on the fragrance for me. Anything with Vanilla always seems to need a few days to cure.Kim:cool2:
