FlameyJamie
I am really beginning to hate CBA. I have been heating to 155 and pouring at 125. I get a huge sink hole every freakin single time. Any advice at what is causing this and how to prevent it?7 % Fo.
Candybee
Been a while since I used CBA but I rremember heating up to 185 to add FO and dye and pouring at about 100 - 110 degrees to get a smooth top. Didn't have that problem with it.I quit using it because there are soys that have a darn site better fragrance throw than the CBA.
iammommytwo
I've been using this wax for years. I vary my pour temp, depending on the size of the jar, and the weather/time of year.I always heat to 155. The smaller the jar, the "hotter" my pour temp. Also, in the winter I pour cooler (~110-115) in the summer, I pour ~120-125.I also cover the candles w/a box and a towel.HTH
elfcat
According to my notes when I used it, I always poured the CBA at around 165 (heated to 175) for 8 oz jars and it always came out very smooth and creamy looking. I always added the FO right before pouring. It was always great looking but the HT was not as strong as I wanted.
