packaging

I'm wondering how everyone packages their soaps for retail sale for those of you who sell soaps. Particularly interested in the packaging on goat's milk soap and shea butter soaps. Wanting to get ideas on how to package other than say shrink wrap or serran (spelling??) wrap. Anyone willing to offer ideas? thanks

I do use the DANS bands from MMS for my Soaps (all are GM). They have open ends for breathing (and sniffing!)

and I put a label under the wrap on one side so they can still see my swirls on the other. I find the soaps get less dinged up this way.

When I first started I did paper bands with kraft paper.

I also have sold my bars naked at markets and put them in a labelled glassine bag upon purchase, but at farmer's market they were getting too dirty.

I also tried just selling in a labelled glassine bag with a bar of each out for everyone to look at and sniff.

hands down the Dans bands have been the best shoice in time spent and in sales.
