Cinnamon grungy - how to do?

Recommended Posts

I just received a silicone cone mold from van yulay. The picture on the site shows it old and grubby. I cannot show the pic as the site is down till April 1.

It seems like I read somewhere to roll in cinnamon or mix cinnamon and oil to get that effect but I am unable to find it now.

I would like to understand how to make this cone look grungy before April 1. I sent van yulay an email when I purchased the mold but no reply yet.

Any ideas, thanks in advance

Hi there,

You would color your wax like honey brownish like.

Then after it's set and done.

Rub cinnamon on the finish product.

If you want darker look, Add clove to cinnamon and you'll get the dark effect.

I would rub cinnamon/clove mix on and then heat gun little over it

to soften outside of the product and then rub more spices on it, it helps keep the spices on and give it a grungy look.

HTH
