Testing same wick, different supplier

I used to get HTP 104 that was BW-coated but I've switched to paraffin-coated ones. How extensively do I have to test this wick? Is testing it with one or two scents enough?

It it works the same with a few scents I'd just go ahead and use it. The wick is the same -- you're just checking to see if the priming wax affects the burn and hopefully it doesn't. If it does, you'll just have to test until you have a handle on what the difference is and what to do about it.

I'm kinda doubting that it can affect the burn that much but maybe I'm wrong. When I've used ECOs with paraffin versus veggie coatings I don't think there's been a noticeable difference.

Thanks, Top. So far with the one scent I'm testing, it looks like the wick coated with paraffin burns a little bit hotter, although I feel it's not that significant to make a difference in the long run.

I have used HTP93's naturally coated and also paraffin coated and noticed no real difference in either of them, as far as burning goes. The only issue I had was that the naturally coated ones wouldn't stick in the wickbars as well as the paraffin coated ones.
