Help on Forever Candles

Recommended Posts

I am using 4625 for the candle and the tealite. I use a CD4 for the tealite. I use the plugs when I pour so I have the hole for the tealite. My question is my tealite must be too hot and is melting the candle just enough to make it hard to get the old tealite out to put a new one in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA! :D

I have never used 4625; I use 4614, but it sounds like your wick is too large (gets too hot) & is melting wax around opening. Try making your tea lights out of a wax with lower meltpoint. You can use a smaller t-light wick & it will come out easier when it's time to replace t-light. Carole

Thanks, Carole. I have an order in at LSCS and CS, but neither of them carry the 4614. That is IGI, right? Where do you get yours. LSCS also has a wick just for tealites that I am going to see if they will add that on. Thanks so much for your continued help.

Carole....that's the best news I have gotten in a long time. I have 4794 and, of course as you know, I have 6006. I will try mixing those.

You are a real angel. I am going to look you up the next time I am in Texas!:D
