bthouse Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 I have a question for those of you who use any of the soy waxes in those big heart-shaped dishes from W****rt. Do you get a melt pool to reach all the sides? I have tested a couple with different wicks and even getting a nice flame, sometimes too big for my liking, it still did not reach the sides completely till after several burns and almost to the bottom. kandlekrazy Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 I had the same thing happen. It didn't burn the sides until it was fairly low in the container. I think you're right in thinking it's ok. I tend to underwick these a bit because I use 3 wicks and multiple wicks scare me with the amount of heat create in glass. The fact that these containers are really heavy is a plus!
