gingerinarkansas
I need to ship a couple of case of candles from Arkansas to Houston and need advice on best way to package these to eliminate breakage during shipping. I had thought about leaving in original case and then packing the case inside another box. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Ginger
Candybee
I once packed a case of candles inside a box and lined the box with peanuts. If you can fit the case(s) in a box that would work.Another way is lots of bubble wrap and peanuts.
gingerinarkansas
Who is the safest company to ship with? I usually don't ship much (except supplies) so I'm not familiar with the best company to go with. Ginger
southern.scents
I have never used DHL but I would figure they would be the safest.
Bernadette
I ship alot of larger boxes and always use FedEx ground. Never had one problem. UPS always breaks something, even when the UPS Store packages them. I've never tried DHL, but alot of people have told me they're kinda expensive. candlelady
I always ship my candle orders in their original box, tape up, then packaged real good inside a larger box with peanuts and packing paper. I recycle all of my boxes and packing materials from my supplies so always have plenty of that! I've never had any problems packing that way. I use UPS and have had real good luck (no breakage in 7 years). Fedex Ground is good too. Sometimes they are cheaper for me at least.Carrie
