artcwolf
What is considered a mini melt or a jumbo melt.I'm using the 24 mini muffin pan from target and the melts are coming out average .62 oz in size. Then i think i'm shooting myself in the foot for charging 0.40 each. number2of7
In my opinion, a mini melt is made from a Wilton candy mold (or similar size), a regular melt is your standard fluted mold (approx. 1 oz), and a jumbo is anything larger. So, yeah, I would say asking .40 is too cheap....up them prices baby! MarsBars
I agree, a regular sized melt is approximately 0.8 - 1.2 oz. My jumbo melts are approximately 2 oz.You are leaving money on the table with your $0.40 melts! I charge $0.90 for my regular melts. I have jumbo melts that are $1.50 each. My melts sell quite well at that price!
Sharon in KY
My melts are 1.2-1.6 and I sell for $1.50 each but buy 10 get 2 free so 1.20 each. But my prices are going up cause everything I buy has gone up. Wholesale is 12 tarts for $8.50 but I need to raise that price too. Seems like I charge more than anyone.. What's up? How can you all make any money charging what you do?Yankee charged $1.89 each for their tarts at .8oz. And this was last year I'm sure it's more now. No wonder you all are selling a ton....
