DosGardenias23 Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 I don't often post pics of my glycerin soaps, but these were really fun to do and I wanted to share. The black and white soaps are Backwoods Cashmere & Pearls - for the black part I used black clay and pearlizing mica. The purple and green soaps are Backwoods Lilac - the purple is mica, and I used french green clay for the "background". Michi, they are individual bars, but I didn't fill the mold all the way to the top so they're actually only about 3 oz. each - if I'd filled the mold all the way they would have been about 4 oz. I did use one of the Cashmere & Pearls bars, and no black bubbles - that'd be super fun if it did make black bubbles! I make a men's soap that's all black clay, and it has sort of a grayish lather.
