larrycat Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 It's happening with my 16 oz. container candle made with GL 70/30! I have made many of these in the past with no problems. topofmurrayhill Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 I suppose that happens as the melt pool reaches the bottom of the container. Have a look at your wicks and maybe you can see why it's happening. Often they're shipped with the wick tabs bent over to one side and the wick gets really creased where it meets the tab.
