justrightcandles
Where do people get or i guess i should say how do they make those little drops of wax that look like pellets or peas. Bean pod has them and they are called soy beads.
Vicky_CO
Ones as small as Bean pod beads are made with machines. The same machines they use to make pastille wax. Some waxes come in that form. It is not cost effective for to do it on a small scale.
justrightcandles
That is what i thought. it had to be machine made but here are two that i found that i think are small time. Smaller than bean pod anyway. I just think it is a cool thing to be able to do. awickedscent
Yankee Candles are made by using beads. They have a machine that sprays the wax on a roller and it scraped off in bead form, then the wax is machine pressed in a mold from the bead wax. This was what I saw when the did the "Made in America" on the travel channel. They probably use the same stuff for the scented beads. mindy5140
I know for a fact a supplier had molds for sale to make those. But cost $100. I haven't seen one around for a few yrs. though.I heard they were a mess to make.Mindy
